Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to receive the highest quality training not influenced by their monetary value.  Meridian promotes Financial Aid Assistance to students that would be depriving themselves if otherwise not available.   Financial Assistance includes Direct Loans, and Pell Grants.

Financial Assistant can eliminate the lingering worry of how one can afford proper training to excel in the Surgical Assisting profession.  Meridian Financial Aid experts to assist and customize a plan for you.

Here are the steps needed to start the Financial Aid Process at Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting.

1^st Step: Fill out Meridian Application

2^nd  step: Visit www.pin.ed.gov and request a pin, to sign the FAFSA.  Please keep a record of this,  you will need it in the future.

3^rd Step: The FAFSA is used to determine the eligibility amounts of grants and/or Direct Loans.
After you receive your PIN number you will visit www.FAFSA.ed.gov to fill out the application. Currently, 2012-2013 (use your 2011 tax return) FAFSA will need to be completed.  After both FAFSA's are completed you will need to electronically sign it by using your pin.  Note: If you are Dependent you will need both your parent's tax information as well as yours. 

4^th Step:  After completing the FAFSA you can finalize the required steps by visiting:https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action

• Complete entrance counseling
• Use pin to sign Master Promissory Note (mpn)   

Within three days of completing above steps the Financial Aid Director will be contacting you. 

Please Note:  The Financial Aid Director will require a copy of your High School Diploma or High School Transcript or GED, Copy of your Social Security Card, and a Copy of your Driver's License.

Before graduation, exit counseling must be done by visiting this site.
